At Willems Nautical , a love of nautical technology and sailing come together. I'm Tijmen Willems, the founder of the company, and from a young age, I've been involved with everything that moves, turns, and sails. That interest has never left me. It ultimately led me to train as a maritime officer, where I focused entirely on the technical side of shipping.

 

After graduating, I worked for a while at large shipyards specializing in yacht building and refits, but I discovered that I most valued working with my hands, solving problems, and interacting with people. That's why I started my own business. I enjoy doing good, honest work that I can be proud of.

 

What I love most are systems that work perfectly, neat installation, and technology that's logical and reliable. That's what energizes me and what I love to help others with. Because nothing beats a carefree day on the water!
