How to refitting work
Our approach to major refit projects always begins with truly getting to know the boat and its owner. We begin with a thorough inspection and analysis of the mechanicals, structure, hull, installations, electrical systems, woodwork, and details. We don't simply identify problems, but rather understand how the boat will be used and what its future purpose will be.
Based on the refit's objectives, we create a clear plan, including options, materials, and associated cost estimates. The owner chooses which components are prioritized and which upgrades add value. This creates a refit process that is logical, feasible, and fully customized.
During the implementation phase, we work by discipline: engineering, interior, exterior, deck and woodwork, painting, electrical work, custom components, and anything else that comes up. Throughout the construction process, we maintain close contact with the owner, providing updates, photos, and any necessary adjustments.
Once everything is complete, a delivery inspection and sea trial follow. Only when everything is solid, neat, and reliable, and at the level we would like to be seen with, we deliver the boat. Our approach is focused on quality, clarity, and the joy of building.
